Azure/Entra tenant providers sit between real Microsoft 365 and custom SMTP. They use Microsoft's cloud infrastructure (Azure, Entra) but with dedicated tenants that are not standard MS365 accounts. Cold email operations get Microsoft-cloud-based sending with some infrastructure isolation. The model has specific advantages and trade-offs compared to both real MS365 and private SMTP.
