I tested Saleshandy for 3 months then switched back to Instantly. Here is exactly why

Spent 3 months running cold email campaigns on Saleshandy after my team decided it was cheaper than Instantly. Switched back after 90 days. Here's the honest breakdown.

What Saleshandy does well. The pricing is genuinely lower for high contact volumes. If you need to load 50,000 contacts into a campaign, the per-contact model makes sense. The agency portal is solid for white-labeling client reports. Interface is clean and the onboarding is fast.

Where Saleshandy lost me. The inbox rotation logic felt unpredictable. I run 15 to 20 cold emails per inbox per day, and the Saleshandy engine sometimes pushed beyond that without clear controls to pull it back. Reply rate dropped about 0.8 percentage points over 90 days compared to my Instantly baseline. I couldn't isolate whether it was the platform, the rotation behavior, or SMTP connectivity differences. Probably all three.

The SMTP vs OAuth gap. Instantly connects to Google Workspace inboxes via OAuth. Saleshandy at the time I tested it relied primarily on SMTP connections. OAuth connections perform better for deliverability because Google treats them as native app access rather than third-party SMTP traffic. That gap matters when you're running 20 inboxes all competing for primary inbox placement.

Support speed. Instantly resolved a connection issue with three inboxes in under 4 hours. Similar issues on Saleshandy took 2 days to reach a human who could actually help. For an agency billing clients on results, 2-day support delays are not acceptable.

The bottom line. Saleshandy might be the right call for high-volume operations where cost is the primary constraint and deliverability variance is acceptable. For cold outbound focused on reply rate, Instantly wins on platform and PuzzleInbox wins on infrastructure. I'm back on that stack and not looking at alternatives.

If anyone has tested Saleshandy more recently and has different numbers on the rotation controls or OAuth support, post them below. Genuinely curious if they've addressed these gaps since Q1 2026.
