Honest review of MillionVerifier after verifying 500K emails

I have been using MillionVerifier for 8 months and verified over 500,000 emails through it. At $37 for 10,000 verifications, the pricing is genuinely hard to argue with. This is my honest assessment after putting serious volume through the tool.

Accuracy: 96% valid rate confirmed. I cross-referenced MillionVerifier results against actual send data from Instantly campaigns on pre-warmed PuzzleInbox accounts. Out of emails MillionVerifier marked as "good," 96% were genuinely deliverable (no bounce). That is a strong number. ZeroBounce hits about 97% in my experience, so MillionVerifier is in the same ballpark for a fraction of the price.

Catch-all handling. This is where it gets interesting. MillionVerifier marks catch-all domains as "risky" rather than "good" or "bad." In my testing, about 2% of catch-all addresses that MillionVerifier marked as risky turned out to be false positives, meaning they were actually valid and deliverable. That is an acceptable false positive rate for catch-all domains, which are inherently unpredictable. My approach: I send to catch-all addresses marked risky, but I monitor bounce rates closely on those segments. If bounces stay under 2%, I keep sending. If they spike, I pull those contacts.

Pricing is unbeatable. MillionVerifier charges $37 for 10,000 verifications. ZeroBounce charges about $40 for 5,000. NeverBounce charges $50 for 10,000 on pay-as-you-go. MillionVerifier is roughly 40 to 50% cheaper than the competition for the same accuracy tier. If you verify 50,000 emails per month, that price difference adds up to hundreds of dollars saved annually.

Bulk processing speed. This is the one area where MillionVerifier falls behind. A 10,000 email list takes about 3 to 4 hours to process on MillionVerifier. ZeroBounce handles the same list in about 45 minutes to an hour. NeverBounce is even faster. If you are pulling lists from Apollo and need them verified and loaded into Instantly within the same day, the slower processing can be a bottleneck. I have learned to batch my verification overnight so lists are ready in the morning.

No real-time API on cheap plans. MillionVerifier offers a real-time API for single email verification, but it is only available on higher-tier plans. If you need real-time verification (for example, verifying an email address at the point of capture on a landing page), you will need to upgrade or use a different tool for that specific use case. For bulk cold email list verification, the standard upload process works fine.

What I wish was better: The dashboard is functional but not pretty. Results are exported as CSV. There is no native integration with Instantly, Smartlead, or any sending platform. You download the results, filter out the bad emails, and upload the clean list manually. ZeroBounce has some direct integrations that save this step.

My recommendation: MillionVerifier is the best value email verification tool for cold email teams. The accuracy is within 1% of ZeroBounce and NeverBounce. The pricing is 40 to 50% cheaper. The only downsides are slower processing speed and fewer integrations. If you are budget-conscious and can plan your verification batches a few hours ahead, MillionVerifier is the smart pick. Pair it with Apollo data and pre-warmed PuzzleInbox accounts for a high-accuracy, low-cost cold email stack.
