Email Astra review. New cold email inbox provider worth trying

I like trying newer cold email infrastructure providers because sometimes you find a hidden gem before everyone else catches on. Email Astra is one of those newer entries in the space, so I grabbed 8 inboxes to test.
What they offer: Google Workspace inboxes with basic DNS configuration. SPF, DKIM, and DMARC were set up on delivery. No pre-warming service. No Outlook 365 option.
Support experience: This was actually a bright spot. Because they're a smaller operation, the person responding to my support tickets seemed to be someone with actual technical knowledge, not a tier 1 script reader. Response time was about 6 to 8 hours. Faster than many larger providers. The downside is that a small team means if they get busy or someone is out, response times could spike.
Deliverability results: After 3 weeks of warmup through Instantly, inbox placement ranged from 65% to 72% on GlockApps. Average for the mid tier of inbox providers. Reply rates on test campaigns sat around 2.3%.
My concern: Email Astra doesn't have a long track record yet. Cold email infrastructure is one of those things where longevity matters. You need to know your provider will still be around in 6 months and that their infrastructure quality won't degrade as they scale. I've seen newer providers start strong and then cut corners on DNS quality or support as they grow their customer base.
Would I recommend them? For testing with a small batch (5 to 10 inboxes), they're fine. I would not commit a large agency order to Email Astra until they've been around longer and have more verified reviews. For production campaigns, I still run everything through PuzzleInbox where the track record and deliverability are proven.
