Apollo free tier is honestly underrated for early stage

Everyone talks about paying for Clay or ZoomInfo but Apollo free tier gives you 10,000 email credits per month. For a solo founder doing cold email outreach, that is more than enough.
I pull leads from Apollo free tier, verify them with a separate tool, then load them into Instantly connected to PuzzleInbox Google Workspace inboxes. Total cost: under $100/month. Results: 8-12 meetings per month.
You do not need expensive data tools to start cold email. Apollo free + PuzzleInbox + Instantly starter = a complete cold email stack for under $100/month.

this is exactly the stack I set up at my new job. Apollo free + cheap Google Workspace inboxes + Instantly. under $100/month and I'm already at 6 meetings in my second month

Apollo free is great to start but you will outgrow it. the 10k credits/month sounds like a lot until you're prospecting across multiple ICPs and burning through credits on enrichment. plan to upgrade eventually

8-12 meetings per month on under $100/month spend is insane ROI. what's your ICP if you don't mind sharing?

@solosdr B2B SaaS, 50-200 employees, US market. pretty standard ICP but the personalization in my copy is what makes it work. Apollo gives me enough data to personalize at this volume without paying for Clay or ZoomInfo

the separate verification tool step is key. Apollo emails are decent but running them through NeverBounce or ZeroBounce before loading into your sending platform keeps bounce rates under 1%. never skip verification
