Yahoo DMARC Rules + Cold Email in 2026
Yahoo joined Google and Microsoft in enforcing strict bulk sender requirements starting February 2024. Cold email to Yahoo recipients (yahoo.com, aol.com, mail.com) requires DMARC compliance.
Yahoo Bulk Sender Requirements
For senders above 5,000 emails/day to Yahoo-family recipients:
- Valid SPF authentication
- Valid DKIM signing
- DMARC policy (at least p=none)
- List-Unsubscribe header (RFC 8058)
- One-click unsubscribe
- Spam complaint under 0.3%
